Telfes im Stubai is a small village in the Tirol (Tyrol) region of Austria. Telfes lies in a North-east South-west valley (Stubaital) 12 km South of Innsbruck, just west of the main Autobahn (A13) from Innsbruck to the Brenner Pass. The village of Fulpmes is a few km south west of Telfes. The main road (183) down the valley passes south of the village to Neustift where the road continues to the end of the valley and the Stubaier Gletscher with all year skiing. Other villages in Stubaital include Mieders, Schönberg. The village of Igls is a few km east of Telfes.

Rail Stations (Bahnhof)

There is a tram (Stubaitalbahn) operated by Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe that runs from Fulpmes and Telfes to the main train station in Innsbruck. The journey takes about an hour.

Cable Cars - Chair Lifts

The Elfer Lifte is in Neustift and there are lifts on the Stubai Glacier at the end of the valley.

In Mutters the Muttereralmbahn goes up to Mutterer Alm.
